Shi Du is an Associate Professor at Soochow University. His research focuses on RNA therapeutics, nucleic acid delivery systems, and bioinformatics, particularly lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) and polymer-based nanocarriers for RNA delivery and their applications in cancer, genetic diseases, and rare disorders. He has been selected for the National Postdoctoral Program and the Jiangsu Provincial Young Science and Technology Talent Support Program, and currently leads a Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation Project. He serves as a member of the Pharmaceutics Committee of the Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Association, Guest Editor of Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry, and Youth Editorial Board Member of Exploration. He has published over 20 SCI papers as first or corresponding author in journals including Nature Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, and Journal of Controlled Release, with more than 2,400 citations (H-index: 20). He holds one granted Chinese invention patent and has filed three international patents.
