Dr.WeijingYangis a Distinguished Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at Soochow University. She received her B.S. in Materials Chemistry from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Zhengzhou University, in July 2012.Her Ph.D.wasin Polymer Chemistry and Physics from theCollege of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Soochow University, in June 2017. She then conducted postdoctoral research for several years at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. From January 2021 to January 2026, she served as a Distinguished Professor at Zhengzhou University, and in February 2026, she was appointed Distinguished Professor at Soochow University.Asthefirst or corresponding author, she has published more than 20 papers in leading journals, includingNat. Commun.,Sci. Adv., andAdv. Mater., with 2 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 1 cover article. Her publications have receivedover4600 citations on Google Scholar, with an H-index of 37. She holds 8 authorized invention patents and has successfully completedone projectfunded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).

She serves asanAssociate Editor of Frontiers in Nanotechnology and as a Young Editorial Board Member ofMater. Today Bio,Chin. Chem. Lett.,Nano TransMed, andOncol. Transl. Med.. She is also an independent reviewer for journals such asAdv. Mater.,Cell Rep. Med.,ACS Nano,Mater. Today,Adv. Funct. Mater., andAdv. Sci.. She has received several honors, including Henan High-Level Talent (Category C), Henan Distinguished Professor, and Zhongyuan Talent Program awardee.

Her research focuses on the synthesis of immunoregulatory polymeric biomaterials for drug delivery and cancer immunotherapy.
